I think this was probably my first visit to an airshow of any sort since I was about 10! While it wasn’t exactly a big show it did provide a decent variety to shoot, including a rather impressive aerobatic glider display.

The Castle Combe weather returned to its normal cold, grey, drizzly and windy state for Bank Holiday Monday’s meeting. The Husqvarna Springtime Raceday saw good sized grids again, this time the visitors being the Ma5da Championship, Production BMWs and LMA Saloons.

In contrast to the previous day’s trip to Thruxton, Easter Monday at Castle Combe involved warm sunshine, decent crowds and some exciting racing. The 750 Motor Club provided this week’s guest championships and as ever were excellent value… especially the ever entertaining Stock Hatches.
